Hello! I’m Mohamed Shafi, an experienced architectural designer, draftsperson, and interior designer with a passion for transforming creative concepts into practical, beautifully executed structures. My Journey Born in 1973 in Kalpakanchery, Kerala, India, my early years were shaped by community engagement, arts, and sports. While studying history at Calicut University, I discovered my passion for design, technology, and music, eventually pursuing formal vocational training in Civil Engineering through the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), graduating with top honors.

Professional Experience My career began in 1997 as a Civil Draftsman and Site Supervisor with PP Construction. Over the years, I expanded my technical expertise into Computer-Aided Design (CAD), leading to a role as an Interior and Furniture Designer at Kottakkal Wood Industries. Driven by an entrepreneurial mindset, I spent two years planning and launching Iron Tech Engineering Industries in 2003—a successful iron fabrication business created alongside my brothers that continues to thrive in the construction industry.

In 2004, seeking new challenges, I moved to Bangalore and joined Spectra Interiors while completing advanced training in architectural design and 3D visualization techniques. Where I Am Today Since 2006, I have been based in Kallarmangalam, operating as an independent freelance consultancy specializing in exterior, interior, and 3D architectural design. Outside of my design work, I enjoy a fulfilled life with my family in the hometown I love.
